Its appearance was a considerable contribution to making Sumy State University a classical university. Most departments of this faculty are general university ones, and graduating departments become more and more popular.

The faculty includes 6 departments, 3 of which are graduating. Also 60% of doctors and candidates of science work there.

Over 800 students are trained for professional qualifications “Translation” and “Journalism”.

Graduating departments train specialists on educational qualification levels:

The Faculty takes a great part in the international educational programs and student exchange programs, granted programs.

The students are actively involved in scientific research work. 350-400 students take part in the annual scientific-theoretical conference of lecturers, postgraduate students, coworkers and students.
